This week, Ryan and Brian sit down again with Dr. Jody Owens. Ryan and Brian both attended a week-long learning retreat with Jody where he taught about 1 & 2 Samuel. It was a great retreat with lots to think about, so during their time there they sat down with Dr. Owens to discuss some of the interesting connections and symbolism in the books. They talk about both the Ark of the Covenant as a character in the story and how there might be a much deeper meaning to the story of David and Goliath.
